# Copyright and Notice Policy # Where to send notices - Use the form below, or POST /v1/legal_notice. One form serves a DMCA 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) notice, an EU Digital Services Act Article 16 notice and a Brazilian extrajudicial notice. No account is needed. - Identify the content by parcel (the EREM- address on its page) and by reference: construction::, story::, rumor::, ground::. Claimed parcels are publicly readable, so references are visible to you. - DMCA designated agent: see the Legal Notice. # What a valid notice contains - Your name and contact, the work and the content, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised, a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act (under penalty of perjury for DMCA), and an electronic signature. # What we do - Notices are answered within 24 hours. Content involving minors or threats to life is handled immediately. - Where a notice names specific records we hide only those. Where a parcel as a whole is the problem we can close it to writes. Affected users receive a statement of reasons through their account. - Counter-notices (DMCA 512(g)): content may be restored after 10 to 14 business days unless the claimant files suit. - Repeat infringers are terminated. # Other notices - Illegal content, personality rights, child safety (fast lane) and privacy requests can be filed the same way by non-users. # Misuse - Abusive or bad-faith notices may be deprioritised or rejected.
